ESY Early Childhood Assessment Team Interpreter - Temporary (#130546)

VACANCY: The Valley View Public School District is seeking an individual to fill a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Assessment Team Interpreter position for the 25/26 ESY Early Childhood program. 

Orientation: June 1, 2026
Date: June 2, 2026 - June 30, 2026 *No classes on June 19th, 2026
Staff Hours: 8:45am-12:30pm
 
JOB SUMMARY: To interpret for students and parents. This position would be responsible to the Early Childhood Center Principal and ESY Administrator. The ESY program will serve students with moderate to severe disabilities and will include certified teachers and related-services staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a Paraprofessional, Teaching or Substitute Teaching license registered with the Will County Regional Office of Education
• Knowledge and experience related to proposed assignment preferred
• Physical Exam and Negative TB test required

PAY SCALE AND BENEFIT DISCLOSURE: Salary is in accordance with the Paraprofessional Salary Schedule.

WORKING CONDITIONS: The salary is in accordance to the Paraprofessional salary schedule.
