ESY Registered School Nurse (#130598)

VACANCY: The Valley View Public School District is seeking to fill a Registered School Nurse position for the 25/26 Extended School Year Program.
 
Orientation: June 1, 2026
Date: June 2, 2026 June 30, 2026 *No classes on June 19th, 2026
Staff Hours: 8:30am-12:45pm (PNR); 7:45am-12:00pm (BHS); 8:45am-12:30pm (MEC) 

JOB SUMMARY: The Registered School Nurse is responsible to the Extended School Year Principal for completing all health duties related to the school age student and completing all health duties including, but not limited to, the following: providing direct services to students, administering medication to students, providing consultation and assistance regarding specific student health needs.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: The Registered School Nurse must be a licensed registered nurse, complete state required training for vision and hearing certification and hold current CPR/AED certification.

PAY SCALE AND BENEFIT DISCLOSURE: Salary is in accordance with the Classified Nurse Salary Schedule.

WORKING CONDITIONS: The salary is determined in accordance with the Registered School Nurse Salary schedule. Applicants must work the entire session. No vacation time or substitutes are acceptable.
