VACANCY NOTICE

JOB TITLE: SUBSTITUTE AIDE

TO WHOM RESPONSIBLE: Classroom Teacher and Building Level Administrator

SALARY: Salary based on experience and education level per TCBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Applicants must be or have been classified in the category or must pass the state prescribed exam for such positions.
• Aide is required to have restraint training
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds

GENERAL RESPONSIBIITIES AND GOALS:

Responsible for preparation of classroom activities under supervision of licensed teacher, assist the teacher with non-instructional classroom duties, work with small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher, and other duties as assigned
