LIFEGUARD
Description: The lifeguard is responsible for the safety of the students while in the pool area.
Responsibilities:
$17.50 hr (2025/2026)
Description: The lifeguard is responsible for the safety of the students while in the pool area.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the health and safety of the students in the pool area.
- Ensure appropriate and efficient emergency response when needed.
- Enforce the pool rules in an appropriate, fair and equitable manner and explain the rationale for the rule(s) when needed.
- Assist students as needed, but without compromising the safety of others using the pool.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures set forth in the Staff Manual.
- Attend meetings as requested.
- Be on time and cover all assigned hours.
- Attend to the cleanliness of the Pool area and its equipment.
- Perform other job related tasks as assigned.
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Experience as a lifeguard in a pool area with children.
$17.50 hr (2025/2026)
