After School Remedial Program - MESMS

We plan to provide after-school in-person extended school day support to struggling students Specific schedules and session dates to be determined. Title I funding will be used for this program.

2 days per week (1 hour each day)

Compensation: Hourly rate at 1/200th of salary (hourly)

Job Description
Job Summary: Under the direction of the principal, the responsibilities of the teacher are to provide remedial instruction using a variety of interventions and materials that support individual student goals. Minimum Qualifications: NYSED Certification in Reading, Literacy, and/or Special Education. Primary Activities Teach targeted intervention to individuals and/or small groups of students. Monitor student progress. Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee: is regularly required to be attentive to the classroom environment.
