Crossing Guards help ensure safe crossings at busy intersections, provide a reassuring presence for families, and model respect and responsibility in the community.

Crossing Guards help ensure safe crossings at busy intersections, provide a reassuring presence for families, and model respect and responsibility in the community.
What You’ll Do
- Safely guide students and pedestrians across intersections before and after school
- Monitor traffic flow and stop vehicles when necessary, using provided equipment
- Wear required safety gear (vest, stop paddle, etc.)
- Report safety concerns or traffic violations to supervisor
- Provide a friendly, dependable presence each school day
- At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to remain alert and exercise good judgment
- Successful completion of a background check and drug test (required)
