RADIOLOGICAL EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS COORDINATOR

This position reports to the Technological Hazards Branch Manager/Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) Program Manager. This position is also responsible for supporting the REP Program Manager in the maintenance of the Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) Program for the Division. Provides support in developing, implementing, and maintaining standing operating procedures and plans for the REP Program and Emergency Positions in any radiological event. This position is also responsible for calibrating, repairing/replacing supplies and equipment needed for the response effort. Actively participates in promoting a continuous improvement workplace culture, through the use of teamwork, root cause problem solving, standard operating procedures, and review of performance metrics.
