PM Line Cook- Sauté /Sides & Pasta Station
Job Description
The Line Cook position is responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with SWRG quality and service standards. This position must coordinate orders to ensure they are cooked timely and with accuracy. The Line Cook should demonstrate strong knowledge of all menu items and ingredients used in recipes while maintaining and ensuring that all food temperatures are appropriate for menu items. The Line Cook must also follow all company safety and sanitation standards. The Line Cook reports directly to the Manager on Duty.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of line cook experience (high-volume or fine dining restaurant preferred)
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have weekend availability
- Ability to be on your feet for a full shift including use of stairs.
- Ability to lift/carry 30 pounds
- Working knowledge of basic kitchen cooking & prepping terminology.
- Basic kitchen knife skills.
- Must be able to read and interpret kitchen tickets (orders) and communicate effectively in English to ensure accuracy, timing, and adherence to safety standards
