Job Summary
At Richelieu Foods we make Great Food from Great People. We are looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler:
Essential Functions
- Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area.
- Communicate with operations to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed
- Responsible for complying Good Manufacturing Practices, maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area.
- Properly put away materials
- Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department
- Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 Year of stand-up forklift experience
- The ability to read and understand production's schedule
- Outstanding attendance record
- Experience on RF scanners
- Cycle count experience
- Comfortable working in a cold & Hot environment
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Cycle Counting experience
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
