Any plans for the summer? Get paid while having fun. This summer, PA Inclusive will be teaching individuals with disabilities employment skills and also supporting them with hands-on job training at the RailRiders games. We are looking to hire job coaches to work one on one with these individuals.
The Mission of PA Inclusive is to help create and support inclusive and sustainable lives for people with disabilities. Help make a difference in the life of a person with a disability. This role includes helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism as they begin working at the Rail Riders baseball games.
Job Duties:
- Job coaching will require you to be with this person as they work in various areas of the stadiums on game days.
- Develop and maintain positive open communication with individuals, family, and other service agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Job coaching client at the job site.
- Submit paperwork timely and accurate.
- Communicate with your supervisor regularly
- Other duties as assigned.
This is a seasonal part-time position requiring a flexible schedule. Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism preferred: Competitive rate of pay plus mileage reimbursement
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, autism, or mental health disabilities preferred.
- Transferrable skills in coaching, teaching, mentoring, or similar experiences preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to obtain state and agency required employment certifications including, but not limited to, APSE CESP, ACRE, and/or Discovery.
- Position requires effective communication and presentation skills, computer knowledge, strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record.
- Must Pass Child Abuse History and Criminal Record Check Clearances and not be excluded from State of PA Exclusion Lists.
