Who are YOU?
You are a Quality Inspector conducting tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products through the use of CMM, Laser, Arm Probe, and manual inspection tools. You will contribute to Pro-Type’s on-going support of our customers through the creation of essential quality reports, documentation, and corrective actions. Equally important is your ability to multitask, be highly organized, self-motivated, cooperative and collaborative.
What does your day/week/month look like?
- Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
- Conduct and report complete dimensional inspection documents for produced product
- Conduct non-destructive inspection tests
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What do you need for this amazing opportunity?
- High school diploma / GED
- Intimate understanding of GD&T
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- CMM proficiency (including PC-DMIS software)
- Faro Arm proficiency (including PolyWorks software)
- HIGH QA proficiency
- SolidWorks or 3D CAD competence (dimensional query minimal level)
- Working Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
- Metal manufacturing experience
