Job Summary & Responsibilities
- Spares Logistics Operations, Warehousing, 3PL Supplier manager, freight management, input into carrier selection, input to brokerage suppliers.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure logistics performance and identify areas for improvement with customer success as the ultimate goal.
- Develop performance management cadence with logistics suppliers such as QBRs, monitor and improve the KPIs for cost, delivery and inventory accuracy.
- Lead end-to-end logistics for EU service (warehousing, transportation, fulfillment, RMAs, inbound brokerage, 3PL, etc…) interfacing internally and with logistics suppliers.
- Provide suggestions on optimizing transportation networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Successfully input and ensure execution of 3PL strategy to exceed/meet customer SLAs for parts delivery and storage
- Identify and resolve logistical problems and bottlenecks i.e intransit, delayed shipments, early warning of delayed shipments, etc..
- Maintain strong knowledge of the company's products and services and all industry standards and practices.
- Drives daily/weekly and year-end inventory cycle counts / Physical Inventory
- Responsible for reconciling warehouse OH balance discrepancies between internal WMS (ERP) and Supplier WMS systems
- Ensures all cycle count and Physical inventory procedures are properly documented, adhered to and up to date.
- Communicating with vendors and customer service team on a daily base
- Taking ownership of operational issues and following problems through to resolution, specifically:
- Raising support tickets to enable tracking of operational issues/enhancements
- Investigating and resolving customer complaints and closing of tickets
- Follow-up and close vendor issues - maintain consistent communication with vendors
- Escalate requests to the appropriate team/manager
- Manage and ensure that the vendors are properly trained in Onto’s ERP system in Amsterdam, Dresden, Israel, and Ireland
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- BS or MS Degree in a Supply Chain, finance, science or engineering discipline
- A minimum of 5-7 years of logistics experience, service logistics, semiconductor OEM experience is a plus
- A proven track record of establishing strong logistic partner relationships with consistent focus on meeting customer commitments
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and drive CIPs
- Ability to use data interface solutions such as Tableau, BI, etc… Strong excel skills
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams,
- Experience in establishing processes, procedures, metrics.
- Being flexible in accommodating changes and re-prioritization of deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present to C-Suite
- Ability to lead people in a matrixed environment across diverse and cultural backgrounds.
- Able to travel up to 20% of time as when required
