Kamatics is seeking a Production Tool Operator who will be responsible for learning and operating a variety of production machine tools to support manufacturing processes. Working under close supervision, this position focuses on performing routine machining operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within a team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities:
- Under close supervision, complete introductory training and operate one or more types of production machine tools, such as grinders, honers, milling machines, drill presses, and lathes, performing routine and repetitive operations
- Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards
- Meet productivity and quality expectations while following established work procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety and environmental policies; promptly report any safety incidents or concerns
- Identify and recommend improvements to work processes; actively participate in 5S initiatives within the work area
- Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers while contributing to a positive team environment
- Cross-train in other positions as needed and perform additional duties as assigned
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
- 0–1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow visual and written work instructions

- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to read work instructions and understand basic machining equipment and measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers

Physical Requirements:
- Continuous standing
- Frequent visual and mental focus
- Frequent bending and twisting
- Frequent use of hands for grasping tools and materials
- Occasional lifting and moving of materials up to 50 lbs. (approximately 15–40% of the time)
