The Role:

NET-A-PORTER is seeking passionate Style Advisors to join our Personal Shopping team in our Mahwah, NJ office and deliver an exceptional, personalised shopping experience to our loyal clients. In this role, you will connect customers with the latest trends and carefully curated product selections, as well as supporting them with any ad hoc service enquiries. As a trusted style partner, you will guide clients throughout their shopping journey building meaningful relationships that inspire confidence and loyalty. You will leverage data-driven insights to deliver targeted outreach, nurture relationships, drive growth and develop the EIPs of the future.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing: 

  • Contribute to the achievement of the team and deliver against individual sales targets and KPIs, increasing client spend and client satisfaction.
  • Create trusted client relationships by responding promptly to enquiries, assisting with product questions and guiding customers through their shopping experience.
  • Build familiarity with your client portfolio to identify opportunities for personalised recommendations, leveraging client preferences, purchase history and trend insights to drive sales and repeat purchases.
  • Offer styling, sizing and fit advice, using training and product knowledge to confidently present new collections and key launches. Present style edits in a visually compelling way to inspire clients to purchase.
  • Follow up proactively with clients to maintain engagement, nurture relationships, and maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Help increase individual client spend and loyalty by understanding evolving customer needs and recommending relevant products.
  • Gather and share customer insights and buying trends with management to support commercial strategy, product launches, and future sales planning.
  •  Represent the brand professionally, delivering service that reflects the luxury standards and values of NET-A-PORTER.

The type of person we are looking for: 

  • Brings 2+ years of experience in client-facing roles such as in-store retail, stylist services or call-center sales and operations, with a proven ability to engage customers.
  • Takes a proactive, results-driven approach to sales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding personal sales targets.
  • Is customer-focused and is passionate about going above and beyond to deliver exceptional service and build long-lasting client relationships.
  • Communicates confidently and effectively, fluent in spoken and written English, with additional language skills considered a strong advantage.
  • Is digitally savvy and comfortable using tools such as Excel, Outlook and CRM systems to manage client interactions and track results.
  • Is highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, luxury retail environment.
