About the Job
The Project Management Associate is an entry-level role within the project management field. This position supports the project management team in planning, organizing, and coordinating projects to ensure successful delivery. The Project Management Associate works closely with project managers and assists in various project-related activities, including documentation, scheduling, communication, and monitoring project progress.
As Project Management Associate, You Will…
Assist in developing project plans, objectives, and deliverables
Support project managers in creating project schedules and timelines
Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes
Assist in defining project scope, requirements, and success criteria
Contribute to the identification and assessment of project risks
Collaborate with project managers to monitor project progress and track milestones
Assist in maintaining project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and change requests
Support project managers in identifying and resolving project issues and conflicts
Monitor project budget and expenses, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines
Help maintain project communication channels and ensure timely dissemination of project information
Assist in managing stakeholder communication, including internal and external project updates
Coordinate project-related communication between project team members, clients, and other stakeholders
Help prepare project presentations, reports, and documentation for stakeholders
Support project managers in managing stakeholder expectations and addressing concerns
Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation, such as project plans, risk registers, and action item logs
Contribute to the preparation of project status reports and progress updates
Ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, and accessible to the project team
Assist in conducting post-project evaluations and capturing lessons learned
Provide general administrative support to the project management team
Help with resource allocation and coordination of project team members
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project workflow
Assist in maintaining project management tools and systems
As Project Management Associate, You Have…
Some post-secondary education or completion of a post-secondary degree with a major in Business will be considered an asset
2-3 years’ experience in the contact center and/or customer service industry
Customer service experience in a high call volume contact center environment is preferred
Must have experience maintaining and developing operational statistics, financial management information and results reporting
Background in client relationship management will be considered an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, and dynamic work environment
Ability to organize and follow-up on multiple tasks/details with accuracy and timeliness
Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, evenings and holidays
Capable of performing intermediate mathematical functions
Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization and work with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds
Ability to adapt to change and innovation
