Job Description
Who we are looking for:
Our Body Shop B-Technicians are responsible for advanced auto body repair. This role works to repair vehicles back to safety standards, including dent and scratch repair, surface preparation, and other minor damage repair. Our Body Shop B-Technicians are motivated self-starters that are able to meet tight deadlines.
What you will do:
Repair wrecked vehicles back to OEM safety standards.
Work with estimates to make repairs by deadlines.
Repairing Damage: Fixing dents, scratches, and replacing damaged panels (including but not limited to: doors, door skins, hoods, bumpers)
Surface Preparation: Grinding, sanding, filling depressions with body filler and priming surfaces for paint
Component Removal/Installation: Taking off and putting back on trim, windows and other parts
Minor Welding: Performing basic welding for part attachment.
Perform routine repairs with minimal assistance.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, follow all safety protocols and comply with OSHA regulations
Work on vehicles that combine traditional steel with aluminum, carbon fiber, or high-strength plastics.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
2+ years of experience in Auto Body Repair
I-Car certification, strongly preferred
Experience working in a high-volume auto body shop
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Must have your own tools.
Familiarity with industry-standard safety regulations
Ability to work in a fast pace, deadline-driven environment
Physical/Mental Requirements
Physical ability to sit, stand or crouch for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
