Kirby Risk is seeking a Power Distribution Specialist to drive growth across our Power Distribution product lines by supporting sales efforts, developing market strategies, and partnering with teams across the organization.
What You’ll Do as a Power Distribution Specialist
In this role, you’ll operate within the estimating department, making efforts to grow all product groups with a strong focus on Power Distribution sales while supporting both customers and internal teams.
You’ll:
Drive and support Power Distribution sales within assigned territories
Meet or exceed sales goals and performance expectations
Identify, develop, and manage project opportunities within key accounts
Analyze market conditions and develop strategic sales plans to increase market share
Execute sales strategies to expand Power Distribution business
Partner with Account Managers and Project Managers to deliver technical expertise and solutions
Collaborate with Area Sales Managers to align territory growth strategies
Support training and development of internal teams to strengthen product knowledge
Ensure a consistent and professional approach to quotes, bids, and customer interactions
What Makes You a Great Fit
College degree or equivalent work experience
4+ years of experience in electrical distribution, sales, or a related field
Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed
Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Solid understanding of business operations and sales processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools
Collaborative team player with a responsive and professional approach
