We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at The Rowe Vets - Wotton on a full-time basis.

Wotton-under-Edge Surgery and MRI Centre is situated 10 minutes from junction 14 of the M5 with easy access to Bristol. We are a friendly, supportive team working to a high clinical standard. You'll be joining a 3 vet busy first opinion practice, which sees a variety of interesting cases.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

* Full-time 40 hours per week

* 5 days a week with 8 hour shifts varying between 8:00am and 7:30pm

* 1:6 weekends , at our Bradley Stoke Hospital, working Saturday and Sunday 8hr shifts with time off in lieu.

General Responsibilities

* Running nurse clinics

* Assisting with our feline radioactive iodine unit

* Supporting MRI procedures and spinal anaesthesia

* Assisting with surgical and dental procedures

We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care. You’ll bring:

* Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS

* Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues

* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively

* A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
