Position: Maintenance Technician-Mechanical
Location: GM, Grand Rapids

Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Department: North American Operations
Position Purpose: Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for an Integrated Facilities Management Company within the scope of work to support the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
- Works safely at all times.
- Installing, Maintaining and Repairing Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities management equipment based upon scope of work outlined by the client.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports for all equipment and fixtures.
- Collaborate with Management to ensure equipment meets operational requirements.
- Assist in the installation of new and existing equipment.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
- All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical degrees in a related field are preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in Facilities Management.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in various hand and power tools.
- Participating in development of Standardized Maintenance practices.
- Flexible work tasks and schedule to include nights, weekends and on-call after hours to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls.
- Work as part of team as an Essential Worker.
- Computer skills and working Knowledge of iPad and Work Orders.
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:
- Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment.
- Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
