Job Description
The Patient Service Technician (PST) delivers and sets up medical equipment, most often within a patient’s (customer’s) home. The Patient Service Technician instructs patients (customers) and caregivers on the proper use of medical equipment and informs those parties of relevant safety measures. In addition to deliveries, the Patient Service Technician is responsible for service orders, maintenance orders, exchange orders, and pick-up orders. The Patient Service Technician has a fiduciary responsibility to the company to be loyal and provide reasonable care of the assets under their control. The Patient Service Technician is expected to consistently provide exceptional customer service and to maintain a polished, professional image for the company.
