The Program Manager for Student Leadership and Missional Engagement provides leadership for cultivating a Christ-centered culture of student leadership, discipleship, and local mission engagement within University Ministries. This role exists to develop, implement, and assess programs that foster spiritual growth, leadership development, and service among students. The position also contributes to pastoral care, worship leadership, and broader university engagement aligned with Belmont’s mission and SOUL framework. Primary position responsibilities: Lead and develop student leadership and discipleship programs that engage first-year students and cultivate a ministry-oriented leadership culture. Design, implement, and assess local mission engagement initiatives (e.g., Plunge experiences) to connect students with community service opportunities. Provide pastoral care and student mentorship, including on-call support, walk-in care, and focused engagement with specific student populations. Collaborate with campus partners (student life, residence life, faculty, and staff) to develop and implement ministry programs across campus. Participate in and contribute to worship services and university spiritual life programming, including preaching and leadership as needed. Engage in team meetings, administrative planning, and operational support tasks, including calendar management and program logistics.
