Data Analyst/Systems Administrator

We currently have a vacancy for a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Analyst/Systems Administrator in our Cape Town branch. This role is pivotal in updating and maintaining company data across various systems, ensuring data accuracy, and providing critical data support to internal departments and clients. You'll be working closely with the Customer Care Manager and Sales Managers. Amongst other things your responsibilities include to: Maintain, analyse and evaluate relevant company data Write database queries using SQL. Provide support related to data and systems to all departments within the organisation. Provide and maintain reports in the form of graphs, charts, and tables to Management. Liaise with clients to ensure that contractual requirements are met and that excellence in client service is consistently achieved. Liaise with system service providers to ensure uninterrupted business processes and productivity. What we are looking for: A technical qualification such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry will be an advantage A Tertiary qualification in a commercial or quantitative discipline (for example Statistics, Mathematics, IT, Computer Science, or Economics). Advanced Excel skills. SQL knowledge. Minimum 3 years’ experience in data models and reporting packages. Ability to analyse large datasets. Ability to write comprehensive reports. Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Problem-solving skills. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
