AIS, a member company of Advantest America, Inc., is wholly owned by Advantest Corporation (a Tokyo Stock Exchange listed company). For over 50 years, R&D Circuits has been a leader in the printed circuit board industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate numerical control drilling machines to drill holes into printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to specifications.
- Load program files containing the necessary commands into the machine or enter commands to retrieve programmed control data.
- Review setup instructions, blueprints, and work orders to determine drilling requirements and machine settings.
- Load and unload PCB panels onto the drilling machines, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.
- Maintain drill bits by replacing any worn or damaged ones to ensure optimal performance and hole quality.
- Monitor the drilling process to ensure the quality of the holes being drilled.
- Perform quality control checks using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with drilling equipment or processes.
- Regularly clean and maintain drilling equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow.
- Keep detailed records of production output, machine settings, and quality inspection results. Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities to boost efficiency and minimize defects.
- Support cross‑training efforts and carry out other tasks assigned by the supervisor to meet production needs.
