Program Coordinator, Medical Education

The UNM School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Program Coordinator. Our program coordinator will manage day-to-day administrative, operational, and fiscal activities of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Residency, Fellowship, and Internship programs. This is a busy and dynamic position working in a collaborative and friendly team. The medical education program coordinator will serve as an important liaison and facilitator, problem-solver and communicator. The successful candidate will have proven success in a team environment and possess the following qualities: data management and computer/software aptitude; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; be responsive and energetic; value exceptional customer service; and strictly maintain confidentiality. Duties include: Coordinating annual acceptance of applicants into advanced medical training programs--processing applications, scheduling interviews, handling candidate evaluations, and reporting Coordinating complex clinical rotation schedules Collecting and analyzing required data, maintaining records and evaluations and tracking progress using program-specific software Providing administrative support including preparing agendas, meeting minutes maintaining calendars, correspondence, booking facilities, answering phones Monitoring and administering budgets and payments, reconciling expenses, assisting with travel, purchasing.
