The position is responsible and accountable for marketing and sales of Bell helicopters and associated accessories and kits within his respective region in the Bell Helicopter Asia area. This position will be based in Malaysia.
Job Description
Plan, coordinate and direct business development activities in assigned countries.
Achieve BHT's goals of identifying and developing potential military and civil customers, with emphasis on major fleet sales programs.
Formulate and execute effective strategies to achieve sales that meet or exceed established profit and return objectives and results in satisfactory market share.
Oversee and supervise the performance of the Independent Representatives in assigned countries to ensure close coordination of marketing activities in the respective countries and compliance with the standards specified in their IRA's.
Manage and prioritize workload to ensure timely, complete and accurate preparation and submittal of program sales proposals and customer responses in assigned countries.
Work closely with Asian Managers, Legal, Business, Operations, Contracts Administration, Applications Engineering, Finance, Program Management, Commercial Estimating to ensure coordination of various BHTI inputs.
Travel as required to support Marketing operations and investigate Marketing Opportunities.
Provide reports and presentations to senior management on programs and developments as required.
Maintain contacts with USA and Canadian Embassy Diplomatic Staff.
Maintain close coordination with all buyers in assigned markets.
Job Qualifications
Minimum University Degree with Aviation Technical Skills
At least 5 years of relevant experience in similar industry, prefer 10+ year with proven sales.
Good business acumen, time management, customer focus and planning skills.
Aviation Pilot license or A&P in Rotary-Wing preferred.
Able to travel when business needs arise.
