Underground Solutions, Inc. (UGS) has an opening for a Shop Mechanic / Warehouse Associate for our Warrendale, PA. QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required, Technical Certification helpful
Forklift Operator certificate and experience helpful
3 years of Mechanic and Warehouse experience or Technical Certifications
Strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and professional warehouse/shop work atmosphere
Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade (hand and power tools) required
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Understanding of hydraulic systems and components
Experience with CAN bus networks and diagnostic tools
Experience working with three-phase electrical systems
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Experience in automotive, industrial, or heavy equipment environments helpful
Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently while contributing to a team‑focused environment
Must be able to lift 50 pounds

RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment with diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
Support daily warehouse operations, including material handling, shipping and receiving, and technical tasks related to equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks as needed
Perform quality inspections of fusion equipment upon arrival at the shop and prepare machines for deployment, ensuring all equipment meets manufacturer specifications
Perform preventative Maintenance & Repair of McElroy fusion machines including diesel/gas engines, generators and electrical circuits
General warehouse duties include maintaining the condition of the warehouse
Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems and related equipment
Perform electrical diagnostics using multimeters
Work with CAN bus networks, including troubleshooting and system integration
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and configuration
Diagnose and troubleshoot three-phase electrical systems and components
Packaging, shipping and receiving duties as needed
