What You’ll Do:
- Supervise daily retreading operations to ensure production goals are met safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- Lead weekly production meetings and communicate goals, expectations, and performance updates.
- Work side-by-side with team members on the production floor, filling in as needed while managing overall shop flow.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and operational.
- Oversee accurate completion of production records and documentation.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure consistent use of required PPE.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to reduce defects and improve product quality.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance guidance to retread technicians and retread leads.
What You Bring:
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Thorough understanding of tire retreading processes and quality standards.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the production floor
