Job Summary
Due to expansion, our US business is currently seeking a senior executive to lead the firm’s wealth distribution strategy and execution across the United States, driving growth in assets under management (AUM) through partnerships with intermediary firms, registered investment advisors (RIAs), independent broker-dealers, private banks and family offices. The role is responsible for helping to develop, structure and distribute investment strategies into the wealth channel. A critical component of this role is advancing the distribution of alternative investments and private assets, ensuring these solutions are effectively integrated into intermediary channels. The candidate will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina, which is the preferred location, and will report directly to the Head of North America Insurance and Intermediary Distribution. New York or Boston may be considered as alternative locations if necessary.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive U.S. Wealth distribution strategy aligned with the firm’s global objectives.
- Define growth priorities across intermediary channels, including traditional and alternative investment solutions.
- Identifying and pursuing business opportunities within the desired channels, fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Providing tailored investment solutions and superior service to meet the needs of clients and prospects.
- Collaborating closely with investment teams and other stakeholders to clearly articulate investment strategies and value propositions effectively.
- Ongoing monitoring of market trends and competitor activities to identify potential distribution opportunities.
- Domestic travel as necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (15+ years) in a similar role, with a track record of successfully driving strategy and growing assets under management.
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets and portfolio construction concepts. A deep knowledge of public and private Fixed Income, and Real Estate asset classes is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and organised approach to business development and client relationship management.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Series 24, 7, 63 required
