Job Description

The Technical Marketing Manager is responsible for global design-in activities - working across teams of Regional Marketing Managers (RMMs), Product Marketing Engineers (PMEs), and other ICS Business Group personnel to maximize our presence at our wide customer base by partnering with our Global Sales Management (GSM) colleagues. This position may also include the responsibility of creating and executing overall Go-To-Market regional business plans, depending on current business needs and applicants’ strengths. For senior personnel, additional responsibilities to help define future roadmaps and portfolios can be included. The role requires strong ability to manage a complex network of internal and external stakeholders, including customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify opportunities for market penetration, customer segmentation and demand generation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and channel partners in alignment with GSM.
  • Align with GSM, Operations, and Finance as part of our Demand Management forecast process.
  • Maintain Go to Market (G2M) material after takeover of initial collateral created by BG personnel.
  • Develop key customer & channel strategies together with regional marketing managers, product managers, and GSM.
  • Link with other Business Groups (BGs) to close potential portfolio gaps driven by customer demand.
  • Manage a team focused on executing regional business plans.
  • Manage PMM (Product Marketing Manager) resources, who act as the primary bridge into the BGs, to accelerate design pipeline and conversion.
  • Align with GSM leadership on critical topics such as staffing, target applications/customer/hero products, goal setting, and incentive programs.
  • Work with System Application team to improve Nexperia’s application centric approach to design-in activities (AKA improve product attach rate).
  • Align with BG ICS Director of R&D Strategy, as well as other BG R&D and Marketing Directors, regarding long-term portfolio opportunities.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Hard Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in electrical and electronic engineering or other related discipline, Masters preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Marketing or Product Management in the Semiconductor industry
  • International customer experience preferred
  • 10+ year experience of leading teams with significant business scope and results
  • Basic analysis, visualization and interpretation of data skills
  • Knowledge of key business metrics and strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify high growths segments and align product roadmaps to specific regional technical requirements
  • Proven track record of design-in success with strong understanding of market trends and customer needs
  • Taking complex technical roadmaps and combining them with global business goals that translate into clear, result driven, actions
  • Direct experience with Signal Chain and/or Power Management ICs

  • Ability to establish lasting relationships and networks in a complex environment across different levels of hierarchies and various stakeholders in a multiple culture environment
