Operate machinery when possessing the necessary training / experience and take part in the multi-skilling objective operating within the company.
Responsibility for maintaining quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Work in an efficient and organised way, managing non-productive time to avoid unnecessary costs to the business.
Assist with factory maintenance programmes and maintain a clean, efficient, and tidy work area.
Assist in packing, stores and paint areas when necessary to meet business requirements.
When requested, this role requires that you travel to UK, overseas and offshore installations on behalf of GD to perform service/maintenance contracts. This will require offshore survival training and medicals.
At the company’s discretion, you will be required to work a reasonable amount of overtime to meet both company and customer requirements.
