Job Description
RAC | Perth + WA project sites
At RAC, you’ll lead the delivery of large-scale tourism and accommodation projects across some of WA’s most unique and sought-after locations, owning outcomes end-to-end, not just managing consultants.
You’ll step into a critical project already in construction, then take ownership of a growing pipeline, playing a key role in shaping how projects are delivered into the future.
Why this role stands out
End-to-end ownership – from design through to construction and handover
Influence how projects are delivered – shape systems, processes and standards
Meaningful projects – build destinations used by over 1.3M members
Profit-for-purpose organisation with long-term pipeline
The role
You’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary construction projects ($20M–$60M+), taking accountability for delivery across time, cost and quality.
This is a hands-on role, you’ll be close to the detail, actively driving outcomes across consultants, contractors and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
Lead projects from planning through to construction and handover
Manage consultants, contractors and procurement processes
Drive programme, budget, risk and quality outcomes
Oversee contracts, commercial performance and governance
Navigate approvals and stakeholder requirements
Build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders
What we’re looking for
8–12+ years’ experience in construction or project delivery
Proven track record delivering complex projects ($20M–$60M+)
Background in Tier 1, 2 or 3 contractors or leading consulting firms
Strong commercial, contract and stakeholder management capability
Comfortable working in a hands-on, delivery-focused role
You’ll likely be someone who:
Enjoys ownership and accountability
Is confident working without large support teams
Wants to step into a role with real influence and impact
What to expect
RAC is not a traditional construction business. That’s part of the opportunity, but also the challenge.
Systems and processes are still evolving
You’ll play a role in building how projects are delivered
Requires someone adaptable, proactive and solutions-focused
Additional Information
Travel to sites across WA required
Flexibility to support project delivery demands
What We Offer
