Job Summary: 

This Manager, Franchise Performance (MFP) is responsible for working closely with franchisee operations to develop strategies and processes that support the delivery of operational excellence. This role will support the optimization of franchise business performance that drives long-term growth and franchise business value. The position supports operations with relevant tools and strategies to elevate sales, profitability, and standards. This position is also responsible for ensuring franchisees operate within Tim Hortons standards and stay aligned with the company objectives. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze franchisee P&L and performance against operational standards. 

  • Conduct business performance reviews to identify areas of opportunity in the Restaurant. Use problem-solving methodologies and business judgment to develop strategies to support business growth. 

  • Influence and persuade franchise businesses to maintain brand standards and quality. 

  • Collaborate with other members of the Operations team and cross functional support to develop strategies and processes that drive operational excellence. 

  • Consult, advise, and provide support to franchisees regarding daily business issues. 

  • Partner with Restaurant Owners to ensure and improve Restaurant profitability. 

  • Engage in immediate problem resolution and/or short-term action plans to correct critical issues. 

Qualification and Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field and/or equivalent experience required. 

  • 3 to 5 years previous experience in QSR, Retail, Food & Beverage, or a similar industry. 

  • Knowledge of franchise operations. 

  • Skilled in problem solving methodologies. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). 

  • Ability to present financial information both orally and in a formal capacity (PowerPoint). 

  • Previous training experience an asset. 

  • Ability to travel 50-70% weekly, as required, within the designated region
