Parenthood Educator Per Diem

Conduct Parent Education Classes. Spanish Speaking Required Provide department secretary with available dates to teach classes. Reflect pertinent and appropriate review of current literature during Lectures/Discussions. Follow curriculum and be organized. When presenting a Lecture, be articulate and have a clear, understandable voice. Involve participants in program; e.g., questioning of their experience relevant to content examples. Acknowledge participant contributions and responds appropriately to questions. Utilize adult learning/age-related/developmental teaching learning principles and incorporate cultural difference into presentation when appropriate. Collaborate with Program Coordinator to revise, update and improve ongoing programs. Encourage class participants to complete on- line class evaluation form. Maintain a current childbirth education certification.
