Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities:
Location & flexibility: This role covers Western and Northern Bulgaria and offers flexible‑hybrid working arrangements.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead, manage and coach a team of Medical Representatives to consistently deliver business objectives and sustainable market growth.
Drive field implementation of the Rx business unit and line strategy in full alignment with national objectives.
Develop, execute and continuously optimise effective promotional and territory strategies together with the field force.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key partners, key opinion leaders and other external stakeholders.
Set clear SMART objectives, monitor performance against targets and KPIs, and take corrective actions where needed.
Ensure accurate forecasting, effective budget use and continuous monitoring of promotional activities.
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Brand Management on initiatives, launches and competitive insights.
Act as a role model for Sandoz principles, ensuring full compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures.
KPI: Achievement of line objectives and market share growth.
What you’ll bring to the role
Essential Requirements:
University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field; postgraduate qualification in Business, Marketing or MBA is an advantage.
Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on prescription (Rx) products.
At least 3 years of experience in a Regional Manager or senior sales leadership role.
Demonstrated success in leading, developing and motivating field‑based teams.
Strong understanding of the Bulgarian Rx and pharmacy environment.
Solid experience in business planning, performance management and execution of promotional strategies.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluency in Bulgarian and good written and spoken English.
Desirable Requirements
Experience within a matrix organization.
Existing industry network with key customers, KOLs or pharmacy chains.
