
Senior Manager, Pricing Analytics
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Analysis & Research: Conduct in-depth pricing analyses, including willingness-to-pay studies and market benchmarking, to validate and refine pricing for both new and existing offerings. Gather quantitative and qualitative data (customer feedback, competitive pricing, industry benchmarks) to support pricing recommendations.
- Develop Pricing Proposals: Create data-backed pricing proposals for product launches or pricing updates. For new products, work with Product and Finance to model revenue impact; for existing products, analyze sales data and competitive moves to recommend adjustments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Product Marketing, and Revenue Operations to ensure pricing changes are rolled out smoothly and align with go-to-market plans. Work with Sales Ops/Deal Desk on quoting tools or CPQ configurations to reflect pricing updates. Provide enablement to Sales and CS teams so they understand and can effectively use the pricing and packaging in customer conversations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant Experience: 7+ years experience in roles involving strategy, product marketing, strategic finance, business analytics, or management consulting in the tech/SaaS sector.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling. Hands-on experience with BI tool and CRM or revenue data is required. Ability to interpret complex datasets (e.g. pricing experiment results, customer usage data) and derive actionable insights is crucial.
- Strategic Communication: Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of distilling data findings into clear, persuasive recommendations.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus. Solid foundation in statistics or economics is beneficial for pricing work.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with pricing optimization tools or techniques (for example, experience running pricing A/B tests or using price elasticity analyses). Knowledge of SaaS metrics (LTV, CAC, net retention) and how pricing impacts them is expected.
Compensation
- Compensation for this position is $1,360,000.00- $2,040,000.00 MXN annually, depending on experience.
