WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in Electrophysiology to join us at Franciscan Physician Network Cardiology Lafayette located in Lafayette, Indiana. Interested candidate will join a talented and extensive cardiology team in a practice which is currently experiencing significant growth.
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have imaging experience, a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physician will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; with hospital rotation 1:2
Imaging experience preferred
Average outpatient clinic volume: 18 – 20 patients per day
Average inpatient volume: varies
State-of-the-art labs:
Biosense Webster Cartosound Mapping system with GE recording system, with connectivity to perform cryoballoon cases as well
Procedures:
Permanent Pacemaker implants
Pacemaker Lead extractions
Leadless Pacemaker implants
ICD implants
Left Atrial Appendage Closure
Ablations: Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, VT Cryoablation
Covergent procedures in collaboration with cardiovascular surgeons

Qualifications:
Doctorate - Required
Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required - and -
Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required
