About The Role

Reporting directly to the Shortage Control Manager, the Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day tasks and managing the team. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, and a hands-on approach to managing processes and people. The Supervisor will help ensure accurate data entry standards are upheld, support exception-based workflows, and monitor for potential shrink risks. They’ll work cross-functionally to implement controls and improve operational processes with a strong analytical approach, identifying shrink trends. The Supervisor will work closely with all cross-functional departments, including Consignor Relations, ensuring all SLA metrics are met

What you get to do everyday

  • Assist with the execution of the shortage write-off process to balance inventory levels

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day production activities/investigations and deadlines while ensuring low shrink for monthly budgets

  • Overseeing client relation investigations while problem-solving and finding quick, cost-effective resolutions for clients and multiple teams

  • Compiling reports for shrink trends while managing client relations/production teams to help guide performance and department goals

  • Coordinating and allocating tasks and resources to ensure general operations run smoothly across multiple departments

  • Ensure all Shortage Control outreach is responded to within 24 hours.

  • Review all new entries and assign to respective departments

  • Update all Shortage Control Notes regarding final disposition

What you bring to the role

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years working directly in shortage control, inventory control, shrink management, asset prevention, or related and relevant experience required

  • 2+ years of direct people management experience required

  • Exceptional analytical skills

  • Ability to work well with all levels of management within the company

  • Strong management skills capable of leading and motivating

  • Ability to work independently with limited direction and communicate effectively

  • Ability to develop and coach your team to elevate the skills and expertise of the team

  • Well-organized and can adapt to shifting priorities

  • Clear and concise, both verbally and in writing

  • Agile, dynamic, problem-solving mindset

  • Extreme attention to detail

  • Ability to travel to the office (when applicable)

The expected salary range for this role is $-$. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity.
