Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will oversee day-to-day nursing operations during your shift, ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to residents. You will lead the care team, coordinate clinical activities, and ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily nursing operations for your assigned shift
- Provide and oversee direct patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and leadership
- Support and supervise LPNs and CNAs
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
- Ensure adherence to state, federal, and facility regulations
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program
- Active, unencumbered RN license in South Carolina (required)
- Current CPR certification required
- 2+ years of nursing experience preferred, ideally in long-term care or rehab
- Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
- Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
- Strong leadership, clinical, and communication skills
