Registration/Scheduling Representative | Call Center
Job Description
Conducts registration interviews with patients and/or their representatives in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Schedules tests and procedures for clinic and hospital and coordinates scheduling of tests and procedures to assure they meet medical necessity, patient, department and practitioner needs. Obtains current insurance billing information and policy benefits on all patients. Completes all paperwork related to the registration process. Offers assistance regarding financial counseling using established guidelines. Successful fulfillment of responsibilities will ensue timely follow-up with patients, and that appropriate financial arrangements are secured for self-pay or under insured patients.
Call Center M-F; Hours: 10:30a - 7p; 40 hours/week - Rotating weekends
