The Hudson School District is seeking a full-time Paraeducator to work at Nottingham West Elementary School starting for the 2026-2027 school year.
Supervised by the Special Education Coordinator and Behavior Systems Advisor, this Paraeducator will be heavily focused on behavior intervention and will:
- Provide students with access to evidence-based alternative interventions, additional time for de-escalation, conflict resolution, self-regulation support, and problem solving skills.
- Supervise/monitor students while using safe spaces
- Collect and maintain behavior and intervention data
- Organize the classroom or intervention environment and instructional materials.
- Reinforce instruction in accordance with each student's Individual Education Plan.
This is a full-time position to work 6.5 hours per day with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch 5 days per week for 188 total paid days. This includes 180 school days, 5 professional days and 3 holidays as outlined in the PSRP collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
Compensation: $20.00 through $35.61 per hour based upon experience as outlined within the PSRP CBA.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- College degree, preferred
- Previous experience working in a special education role
- Computer skills/experience (Excel & Word)
- CPI Certification and/or willing to become certified
