Identifying and advising on legal and regulatory risks and the legal liabilities associated with the regional business in general as well in specific transactions [Managing relevant contracts with customers and suppliers, contractors, distributors and agents, service providers, software/technology providers, other internal corporate entities, etc.]
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of agreements, such as product and service supply or purchase agreements, distribution agreements, agency agreements, licensing agreements, confidentiality agreements, healthcare provider engagement agreements, training agreements, focus group agreements, clinical trial agreements, grant agreements, as well as, other types of agreements involving transactions of various departments.
In cooperation with the global legal and regional team, drafting and revising contract templates for various transactions, and support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes.
Implement relevant parts of global processes and procedures for documentation flow, approvals and reporting consistent with internal processes.
Conducting training for various legal topics.
Keeping abreast of applicable laws and regulations. Keeping abreast of legal issues that could impact the Indian organization.
Support the Special Investigations team and Ethics & Compliance in local investigations or risk-assessments if assigned.
Performing other related duties and special projects as required.
