The Role
We are looking for a Mathematics specialist who can inspire a love for mathematical inquiry in our Middle School students. The ideal candidate will be an expert at helping students make connections about mathematical theory and the real world.
Key Responsibilities
- Instructional Excellence: Deliver engaging, rigorous lessons in Language Arts and Social Studies that align with NJ Student Learning Standards and Diocesan guidelines.
- Positive Classroom Culture: Implement effective classroom management strategies with a strong emphasis on Positive Behavior Support (PBS) to create a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
- Spiritual Leadership: Infuse Catholic values and teachings into the daily life of the classroom, supporting the school's mission of faith formation.
- Data-Informed Teaching: Use formal and informal assessments to differentiate instruction, ensuring all learners reach their full potential.
- Community Collaboration: Partner with parents, administration, and fellow faculty to support the "whole child" philosophy.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Prior experience teaching Middle School Mathematics.
- Certification: Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification (Elementary with Subject Matter Specialization or K-12 Subject Area).
- Pedagogy: Strong understanding of modern pedagogical trends, including project-based learning and technology integration.
