Job Description
Position: Teacher/District Attendance Coach
Location: Central Office
Criteria:
• Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate held on or before the application deadline
Preferred:
• Five (5) or more years of successful classroom teaching
• Master's degree or higher
Duties:
• Strengthening district attendance procedures and consistency
• Supporting schools with attendance intervention planning
• Monitoring attendance data and identifying trends
• Assisting principals with legal attendance requirements
• Strengthening communication with families regarding attendance concerns
• Coordinating interventions for students with excessive absence
This is a grant-funded position, contingent upon continued grant funding.
