Contingent Concierge

 

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and service-oriented Contingent Concierge to support our Assisted Living and Memory Care community on an as-needed basis. This role serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, helping create a welcoming, safe, and well-coordinated environment. Flexibility is essential, as shifts may vary based on staffing needs.

Schedule & Availability Requirements:

• Weekdays (Monday–Friday): Coverage needed between 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Weekends: Coverage needed between 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Shifts will be assigned within these hours based on operational needs; candidates must have flexible availability to support call-offs, vacations, and peak times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet residents, visitors, and staff in a warm, professional manner
• Answer and direct phone calls; manage inquiries efficiently
• Monitor building entry/exit 
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
• Communicate effectively with care staff regarding resident needs or concerns
• Maintain front desk organization and ensure a clean, presentable lobby area
• Respond calmly and appropriately in urgent or emergency situations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with seniors, including individuals with memory impairment
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a dynamic environment
• Basic computer skills (email, scheduling systems, phone systems)
• Reliable and flexible availability
