The Stratford School District has the following Special Education Teaching position for the 2025-2026 School Year:

Special Education Teacher / SSC Classroom
Nichols Elementary School 

Candidates must hold the appropriate Connecticut State Certification per position.
 

The SSC program will:

• Provide explicit instruction in social-emotional skills, such as coping strategies, conflict resolution, problem-solving, decision-making, self-awareness, and self-advocacy.
• Improve student availability for academic learning.
• Facilitate the successful reintegration of students into mainstream classrooms.
