Capturing and leading complex global investments requires us to work as one to seize valuable opportunities, in close collaboration with some of the world’s top companies. At PSP Investments, you’ll join a team of motivated and engaged professionals, dedicated to propelling our organization further than ever before.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Data Analytics Platform team is seeking to accelerate PSP’s Data & Analytics capabilities. As data and AI usage grows across the organization, there is an increasing need to strengthen architectural coherence, establish scalable data foundations, and enable consistent reuse across domains.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The Domain Architect, Enterprise Data Architecture defines the enterprise data domain vision, target-state architecture, and multi-year roadmap aligned with enterprise architecture guiding principles, ensuring data is structured, reusable, and supports effective business decisions. Success in this role requires a strong technological background balanced with an orientation toward business outcomes; data architecture decisions must be driven by how the business creates value from data, while respecting technology imperatives.
As a Domain Architect, Enterprise Data Architecture, you’ll:
Lead the enterprise data domain vision and target-state architecture aligned to enterprise architecture guiding principles
Define and maintain a multi-year roadmap for enterprise data capabilities and platforms, aligned to business priorities
Own and evolve PSP’s data architecture principles, standards, and reference patterns
Define and maintain enterprise standards for data modeling/semantics, data product structure, and integration patterns to support clear ownership, semantic consistency, and reuse across domains
Act as design authority by reviewing and challenging designs, establishing decision frameworks and escalation paths, and preventing architectural drift
Ensure data foundations support advanced analytics and AI by enforcing readiness criteria including quality, lineage, consistency, and explainability, and evaluating decisions for scalability, reuse, and governance
Translate architecture principles into clear execution rules within a federated operating model, clarifying domain versus platform responsibilities and embedding governance-by-design including data quality expectations, certification controls, and traceability
Coach and mentor teams and stakeholders on data architecture practices, communicate architectural trade-offs, risks, and dependencies to technical and business stakeholders, and elevate data architectural maturity across teams
Research, assess, and experiment with emerging data and analytics technologies and patterns to meet evolving business needs, considering internal capabilities and market innovation
Actively contribute to the definition, promotion, and implementation of TDO strategic enterprise architecture vision, roadmap, and architectural guiding principles
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Ten (10) + years in enterprise data architecture, data platforms, analytics architecture, or closely related experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance and/or the equivalent combination of education in related fields
Proven experience establishing and governing data architecture at scale in complex, large-scale environments
Deep expertise in data modeling, semantics, and scalable data design; strong understanding of analytics/reporting/decision-use of data
Ability to translate business needs into durable data structures, standards, and roadmaps
Experience operating as a Domain Architect—setting direction and enforcing standards without direct hierarchical authority
Strong technological background and pragmatic mindset; able to simplify complexity and drive adoption across diverse stakeholders
Comfortable making and defending decisions in ambiguous environments
Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
We offer a tailored employee experience and competitive total rewards and benefits package* designed to attract and retain global diverse talent, reward performance, and reinforce business strategies and priorities. Beyond salary and incentive pay eligibility, you have access to:
