the development and implementation of museum operations strategies and schedules (including predictive staff scheduling and facilities maintenance needs to anticipate issues before they arise)
proactive monitoring, assessment, and respond to issues affecting the Museum’s built environment (e.g., entrances and egress, public and programming spaces, reception, and washrooms), including liaising with internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely resolution.
planning and scheduling daily, monthly, and annual activities related to Museum operations
active participation in development of museum programming, including educational programs and exhibitions; this involves sharing knowledge, experience, and ideas from the visitor perspective, and reviewing plans and contributing feedback based on your subject-matter expertise
management of contracts with third party providers (e.g., cleaning crews, ASL/LSQ contractors, artists and entertainers delivering special programming)
ensuring suitable coordination of activities of other groups in the museum spaces, e.g., exhibition installation, facilities work, or special events that could have an impact on visitor experience
defining, tracking, and maintaining museum programming inventory
