Job Description
Job Summary
This role requires strong Inventory Management skills to monitor and control stock levels. This role is for a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities. They possess great attention to detail and a business mindset. The goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives, and we maintain traceability and accuracy on all inventory locations within our area of responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain ownership over cycle counting process and procedures.
- Manage inventory health, to include closely monitoring and reporting on aged, excess, obsolete, and inventory at risk of expiration.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on Inventory Control best practices for various classes of inventory: Warehouse, 3PL, In Transit etc.
- On board and manage new facilities inventory processes (Company Owned, Co-Manufacturing, 3PL, Overflow etc.)
- Develop value-added reporting to drive inventory accountability to the appropriate levels in the organization.
- Supervise the research for daily, weekly, monthly inventory discrepancy management.
- Work with production, warehouse, finance, and supply chain to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Be proactive in conducting ad hoc, fact-based analysis to anticipate and resolve potential problems
- Develop best practices. Document and share across the organization by gaining consensus from all affected teams.
- Educate operations teams on variance causes, impacts and solutions.
- Ensure adherence to company policy and ensure effective controls are in place to guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of inventory transactions to support inventory views throughout the organization.
- Hire, supervise and develop direct reports.
- Ensure workload is efficiently allocated and completed in an accurate and timely fashion with clear goals and expectations for the team.
- Lead, inspire, engage direct reports, assess their readiness for future roles, conducting evaluations according to company practices, and ensuring consistent accountability within the broader team. Above all you must be able to identify and leverage your team’s strengths to cohesively achieve a common goal.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree In related field preferred
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years work experience within warehousing, inventory control or finance required and
- Finance / Accounting experience preferred and
- Project Management Experience preferred
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of inventory control practices and systems. Ability to develop and document complex processes and controls
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights and communicate effectively to management
- Exceptional demonstrated problem solving skills, must be able to effectively present information and analysis
- Demonstrated evidence of a strong team player who is able to build key relationships with team members across multiple functions throughout the organization and influence the broader organization
- Ability to ensure successful delivery of identified cost savings
- Advanced proficiency with Excel
- Proficiency in SAP and expert level knowledge on SAP inventory transactions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team. Strong ability to work across functions and divisions to deliver results.
- Ability to work in a complex ambiguous environment
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skill
- Able to be aware of all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
- Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
- Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times

License and Certifications
Travel Requirements
10%: Up to 26 business days per year
Physical Requirements
Medium-Exerting up to 50lb/22kg of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or up to 10lbs/4kgs of force constantly to move objects.
Additional Requirements
- Stand and walk for 8-12 hrs. per shift – Moderate
- Must be able to lift 35 - 50 lb. unassisted and/or 51+ lbs. occasionally (team lift)
- Occasional above shoulder height work
- Occasional stretching and arm extension for work related tasks/assignments
- Occasional bending and twisting as required by the job
- Must also be able to tolerate industrial odors and smells on a frequent basis
- Must be able to work overtime shifts as directed
