About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Dealer, Debt Market Syndication to join our team at RHB Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for providing market insights, pricing recommendations, and executing primary debt market deals. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, maintain strong institutional client relationships, and ensure seamless deal execution while upholding the highest standards of service and compliance.
What you will be doing
Provide recommendations on pricing, market colour, and issuance timing to Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and issuers to minimize execution risk.
Plan, organize marketing activities, and execute primary deals across various modes of issuance.
Work closely with Fixed Income Sales and DCM teams to deliver optimal client solutions, achieve revenue targets, and ensure best execution for primary deals.
Ensure the highest standards of client service are maintained at all times.
Review Credit Application papers for presentation to GCC/BCC on distribution strategies, and facilitate Group Treasury’s final take-up for AFS & HFT investments.
Maintain existing relationships and build new ones with institutional clients and bond issuers.
Participate in Pricing Committee meetings and provide up-to-date market information to issuers for new deal syndications.
Collaborate with other RHB Bank desks to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
Train and coach team members to effectively sell and promote treasury products both internally and externally.
Maintain proper record-keeping of executed primary deals to support Audit and Compliance requirements.
What we’re looking for
Good understanding of the general banking field, with added advantage for candidates knowledgeable in treasury products, hedging tools, and yield enhancement products.
Strong analytical and relationship-building skills.
Holder of a Persatuan Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia (PPKM) license.
