Lead and drive a customer-focused culture that deepens client and broader Bank relationships, strengthens cross-functional collaboration, and delivers meaningful outcomes across the RESL ecosystem.
Partner with RESL Finance and Analytics, Risk, Distribution, and Treasury teams to conceive, initiate, and lead analysis to uncover opportunities to improve profitability and performance of the RESL portfolio through cost reduction, asset growth, revenue enhancement, capital optimization, and process controls. You will lead initiatives to implement solutions based on opportunities identified.
Oversee the day-to-day performance management of the RESL portfolio, including forecasting, trend analysis, and business insights that support proactive decision-making.
Lead the annual Covered Bond Audit in collaboration with Group Treasury and the RESL Securitization Team. The Covered Bond program is a critical component of the Bank’s funding strategy, and a successful annual audit as mandated by CMHC enables the Bank’s continued issuance of Covered Bonds. You will lead a team composed of RESL staff and temporary resources to complete the audit over a 2-4 month period each year.
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
